Seems like a good place to start. First and foremost, a local Amnesty International volunteer and activist! Although all opinions are my own (unless specifically quoting AI), especially political opinions.
What I like most about AI is that it is neutral on politics, other than the need for universal human rights. We speak out on human rights violations no matter which country, which side of a conflict, with no excuses that one groups’ human rights violations are somehow justified while others are condemned. No exceptions.
